Policy development and strategy research

To inform policy development we undertake research that explores attitudes, knowledge and beliefs of key stakeholder groups as well as the community. We provide an understanding of current behaviour as well identifying community response to proposed interventions or programs.

Our senior team has extensive experience working with both industry as well as state and federal government on a variety of policy related issues. We are adept at working on sensitive and controversial policy issues, often applying a ‘community’ lens to identify insights and barriers to effective engagement and behavioural change.

Recent work on a key government policy required us to:

  • measure current attitudes toward the proposed policy as well as key target audience segments for communication
  • develop and refine subsequent communication and information campaigns for the rollout of the policy
  • evaluate the effectiveness of the information campaign in facilitating awareness, understanding and engagement with key policy initiatives.
